Patent No. US 7,381,697 B2 A fabric softener that attaches to the inside wall of a laundry dryer has been patented by Ecolab Inc. The fabric softener composition results from melt mixing and molding a fabric softener component with a melting point of greater than 90°C and a carrier component so that it provides fabric softening properties to wet laundry during drying....
